| "Memorial" Medium: Oil Size: 11" x 14" This is a tree changing color at San Clemente Canyon's Marion Bear Park. The building behind it is actually a restroom but I painted it as a granite memorial, to what I don't know. The death of art? The passing of summer? Or a forgotten dream? Though this painting was done in the studio, I group it with my plein air paintings because it has that same spirit, and came out of my two days painting at this location. |
